Where is your team from ? Im originally from Pollok in the southside of Glasgow so naturally when building the team i recruited alot of good players that i know from that area.
Hopes for the season – Hopefully get a decent run in one of the big cups and to be up in the mix for winning the league. Team has went from strength to strength in a short few months so boys are looking forward to the season kicking off.
Previous League – Glasgow Sunday AFL
Reason for leaving – The boys wanted a fresh challenge.
Thoughts so far – We have played a number of friendly matches against established GCFA teams and we have been really impressed by the standard of teams and setup of the leagues.
Tasty game watch – iv known Stuart MacDuff who runs Pollok United and Scott Burns who Runs Rosehill United for years, Both teams are originally from Pollok so a competitive match versus either of those 2 teams would be the closest thing we have to a derby.
We also have a healthy rivalry with Cambuslang FA, my good mate Ryan Carmichael plays for them and a few of our players used to play for them so ill be looking forward to that match.

Nethercraigs 3 v 5 Dumbarton
Absolutely gutted. Think the occasion got to a few of the boys and we lost some really poor goals on the other end we hit the woodwork twice and had some good chances we never converted but if you don’t defend well and don’t convert your chances at the other end you can’t expect to win games of football. Well done to Dumbarton they deserved there win. Can’t fault the boys for the season they have given me, it’s been a Rollercoaster. We dust ourselves off get our remaining games played and come back stronger next season

Today Nethercraigs Afc we’re officially crowned
Boca Championship league winners after a fantastic 4-1 victory over kings Park United.
Nethercraigs now move up to the GCFA Premier League as the official Champions of the Boca Championship
Its really a season to remember for nerries especially after the pain pf loosing out on last seasons Jim Harvey cup Final.
David Boyd bounced back with a bang making a few keys signings and turning his side into an unbeatable force in the league as they are one game away from a full unbeaten league campaign.

The Gaffer David Boyd will want to finish the season off with a treble before turning his attention’s to the 2024/25 season and his team’s promotion to the GCFA Premier League.
