Delighted to announce the Alex Lindsay Cup 2024, our 6th consecutive anual tournament. We are looking for 16 teams to enter this years Alex Lindsay Cup. A competitive 7–aside football tournament. 4 groups of 4 will compete head to head and teams who finish 1st & 2nd in their group will progress to quarterfinals, semifinals and the final. Each team can have up to 10 players. £100 entry per team and all funds raised going to Adored – SCIO ❤️
⚽️ Group matches will last 15mins, a win will earn teams 3 points, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. Goal difference will be taken into consideration.
⚽️ Knock out rounds will be played for 20mins (2 x 10min halves), if scores are tied after 20mins the game will be decided by sudden death penalties!
🏆 A trophy presentation will be held shortly after the final. Runners up will receive medals and the winners will be presented with medals and the “Alex Lindsay Cup” 🥇🥈
☕️ Our friends at Really Awesome Coffee will be serving delicious drinks and snacks again this year 🥪🍰
